Constructing Excellence North East Winners 2011
In May 2011 Team Force entered into the Constructing Excellence North East awards under the "Heritage" category for our work at Lindisfarne Priory. We won. In the picture above the award can be seen being presented by Michael Rowley (left) to Team Force Directors Brendan Teasdale (middle) and Lee Teasdale (right).
Here is what the CENE had to say, "This
award recognises the achievement of high standards in the repair, re-use and revitalisation
of the region's historic buildings, sites and places". They continued "The project which forms the second phase of a larger project
designed to add longevity to the structure through a measured scope of
consolidation and repair works to the fabric preserving the monument for future
generations to enjoy. The structure had suffered extensive masonry erosion and
required also required re-pointing after previously inappropriate methods had
been undertaken previously".
After winning this regional award, Team Force have now been put forward for the national awards under the same category.
